Improve your company CRM standards by using this comprehensive training course
The objective of this eLearning CRM course is to provide comprehensive personal study for the pilot.
This course lifts the knowledge level of CRM and contributes to a higher level of understanding and improved standards within the pilot workforce. It saves work time by allowing personal study to a fixed level at each individual's own pace prior to in-house practical training. This makes the subsequent classroom sessions more productive and leads to a better understanding of how good CRM improves flight operations standards and safety.
The full CRM course is suitable for initial training as it covers the theoretical part according to JAR OPS 1 requirements (except for company and type related subjects) including:
Human error and reliability, error chain, error prevention and detection
Company safety culture, SOPs, organisational factors
Stress, stress management, fatigue & vigilance
Information acquisition and processing situation awareness, workload management
Decision making
Communication and co-ordination inside and outside the cockpit
Leadership and team behaviour synergy
Each chapter includes the theory and Case Study for the topic which the student should review prior to the practical session taking place. This increases the understanding of the contributory factors relating to each Case Study.
The total run-time of the full initial course is 8 hours.
This CRM course is also designed for recurrent training where it is divided into three annual recurrent modules to cover the theoretical aspects of the JAR OPS 1 syllabus for recurrent training.
Recurrent module run-time is 2 - 3 hours.
