Dangerous Goods initial and recurrent training is a mandatory requirement for all pilots, cabin crew and staff associated with passenger and ground handling. You can perform all your Dangerous Goods training using the Airline Training Portal.
This course fulfils the 24-month ICAO/IATA recurrent dangerous goods training requirement and it is also suitable for operators who are non-authorised to carry dangerous goods.
The training program complies with the requirements of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations Chapter 1.5. The training has modules for the following categories of staff:
Staff accepting cargo (other than dangerous goods), category 7
Flight crew and load planners, Category 10
Crew members, other than flight crew, Category 11
Passenger handling staff, Category 9
Staff responsible for ground handling, storage and loading, cargo and baggage, Category 8
The course content is updated as the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations change. The DGR course includes the topics listed below. The topics are structured for each of the above categories so that their training meets the minimum requirements specified for each group.

Note: This training does not meet the requirements specified for operator's staff, ground handling agent's staff or Freight Forwarder's staff accepting dangerous goods.
A typical course takes 2 hours on average to complete.
A Test can be provided with the DG pilot and cabin crew courses to meet the IATA requirements for student testing of this subject.
